WIN A FREE CAR

We received a note-card in the mail with an attached key. BRING YOUR KEY IN TO SEE IF YOU'VE WON A FREE CAR it exclaims. So, since it was right near our church, Duncan decided to give it a shot - figuring it never hurts.

Well, we didn't win a car, but they told us we won $250 in free gas. I am very happy about that, but I'm wondering how it will all work out. Upon further research you have to pay a $5 refundable fee, then submit $100 worth of gas receipts - with a voucher that you receive after paying the $5 fee. You can only submit one batch of $100/receipts per month - and you get a $25 gift card for gas station of your choice within 4 weeks of submitting said receipts. Never mind the fact that it takes 4 weeks from registration to get the vouchers to begin redeeming and it will take us 10 months to redeem the entire $250. *So, next December we may have finished.* I can see why they do it this way - I imagine a lot of people don't consider it to be worth the hassle and/or they forget about it as the months drag on.
