Sick Day

I really hate it when my kids are sick. I feel so bad for them that they have to deal with that, but we are slowly getting to the stage where they can tell me how they feel and understand why they need to rest.

Today is one of those days. Paige has a fever and is resting a LOT. Thankfully there isn't a stomach bug involved, so the fever is quite manageable - she is even eating fine, so we may be able to flush it out of her system rather quickly. I don't give a lot of meds - unless they are miserable - as I feel it makes them feel too good and then they do too much and don't rest.
