MOMS @ NKBC

Just had my first leadership meeting to begin a M.O.M.S. (Moms Offering Moms Support) group @ North Kitsap Baptist Church here in Poulsbo, WA. The time I spent praying for the meeting obviously paid off because it went off without a hitch - regardless of how nervous I was about being up in front of a large group.

Mothers of young children need a place to connect. MOMS is a group designed to encourage, educate and equip us to excel in this stage of life. We will offer an informative speaker, snacks (you don’t have to share) and discussion groups every week. This is a great place to get some downtime while receiving a good dose of encouragement.

I am very excited to be able to share my vision with the church and am thankful for all the support my passion has received so far - both from this church body as well as from New Heights [www.newheights.org] in Vancouver, WA. They have been fantastic - offering support for even the smallest little detail.

I am looking forward to how God is going to use this ministry here in Kitsap County as there is a year-long waiting list on almost all mom's support programs in the area.

Suzanne, Congratulations on your success in organizing and setting up MOMS. What an accomplishment, God is so faithful and so good. He equips us with everything we need when we pursue His will in our lives. I really love all the pictures of Graeme, Blaire & Paige, but they made me cry...I miss all of you so much. It's hard being so far away and missing out on so much. I feel more homesick after talking to family and friends back home or seeing pictures but am finding that after the sadness goes away I feel much better knowing that I am not losing touch with those I love. God Bless & much love-Bonny & Anthony

Suzanne- Congratulations on the success with MOMS. What an accomplishment. God is sooo good and faithful. He always equips us with what we need when we pursue His will in our lives. I love the pictures of the kids, but they made me cry. It makes me really homesick everytime I talk to anyone from back home or see pictures. I feel like I'm missing out on so much. But I am coming to the realization that after the sadness passes that I am glad that I have a way to stay involed in the lives of the people who mean the most to us.

God Bless and much love-Bonny & Anthony
