A New Life

Over the past few months, Blaire Rose has been asking LOTS of questions about who God is, how we believe in Him and how we seek to have a relationship with Him. She has been talking about how we go to heaven when we die - IF we have Him in our hearts. We knew she was ready to make a decision, but she was taking her time.

Easter Sunday, with the faith and confidence of a child Blaire Rose decided that she wanted to commit her life to Jesus. She trusts Jesus fully and recognizes that she does not have the power to a relationship with God unless she seeks the Lord's forgiveness and offer of Eternal Life.

We are so excited for the life God has planned for her. It is not going to be an easy road. Satan will try to get his foot in there to take her eyes off Christ. Pray along with us that she stay committed to loving her Lord and that she strives for a life modeled after Jesus'.

Rhode Island Vacation

We got to spend a week in Rhode Island with Duncan's family and had a great time at the beach. The kids had fun meeting their cousins and we all had a good time relaxing and hanging out.

The kids had a great time on the boogie boards with Duncan assisting.

We got to see our friends Alex & Julie as well - they came down from Boston to spend the weekend with us. We have a very special relationship with them because we got to do their premarital counseling and Duncan got to perform their wedding ceremony in August 2006. They are moving to Texas soon and expecting their first child in September - so they enjoyed the beach break and we had a lot of fun catching up.Stonington, CT.

We got back to Washington very early Wednesday morning and we are still catching up on sleep. The kids are having fun with all their toys after being gone 5 weeks and Duncan jumped right back into the thick of things with meetings Wednesday evening.

Forbidden Book of the Bible

I just started attending a new class at church taught by some friends of mine. They are using a curriculum by Tommy Nelson and it has the makings for a great study. Most that know Duncan and I know that we have a passion for helping people achieve positive results in their relationships. We have pursued training in marriage prep and have had the awesome privilege of working with 6 couples in the past 3 years. I am excited to gain more insight about relationship training as I attend this course.

Song of Solomon Study

Used and loved throughout the world, the Song of Solomon series teaches the Biblical design for relationships. For both singles and married couples, this exegetical study follows Solomon's relationship from attraction to dating and courtship, marriage and intimacy to resolving conflict, keeping romance alive, and committing to the end. This 10th Anniversary Edition (released in 2005) updates Tommy Nelson's original study with updated teaching and added features.

A New Life

About a year ago Graeme was asking LOTS of questions about who God is, how we believe in Him and how we seek to have a relationship with Him. When we discussed it, he said he believed all that and knew he wanted Jesus in his life, but wasn't ready to pray to ask for forgiveness.

Today, with the faith and confidence of a child Graeme decided that he wanted to commit his life to Jesus. He trusts Jesus fully and recognizes that he does not have the power to a relationship with God unless he seeks the Lord's forgiveness and offer of Eternal Life.

We took him to lunch to celebrate his birth-day - a birth of NEW LIFE in CHRIST. Rejoice with us as we encourage him in his relationship with his Heavenly Father.
