Tax Season Blues

So... we just found out that last year our accountant 'forgot to mention' that we were supposed to make quarterly payments on our self-employment taxes. Now we're close to 3k in the whole because of it. Seems like she should have to pay it because she failed to let us know... but I doubt the legal system works that way - something about us being responsible for ourselves or crazy ideas like that.... argh.
