Grow old along with me - the best is yet to be

"Grow old along with me
The best is yet to be"
Robert Browning

“I, Duncan, take thee, Suzanne, to be my wedded wife. With great joy and thanksgiving I receive you into my life that we may be one. As Christ leads me in my life, so shall I lead you, remembering that love will be with us always. I promise you my deepest love and devotion. I will care for you whether our way be smooth or difficult, when you are sick and when you are well, to live together with Christ as the center of our home; to love and to cherish till death parts us.”

I, Suzanne, take thee, Duncan, to be my wedded husband. With great joy and thanksgiving I come into my new life with you. As you have pledged to me your life and love, so I too happily give you my life. As Christ leads you, I submit in confidence to your headship knowing that Christ will be the center of our home. I promise you my deepest love and devotion. I will care for you from this day forward; whether our way be smooth or difficult, when you are sick and when you are well. God has prepared me for you and so I will ever strengthen, help, comfort and encourage you throughout life as an obedient and faithful wife till death parts us. I say “Where you go, I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people and your God, my God.” (Ruth 1:16)

We never live so intensely as when we love strongly.
We never realize ourselves so vividly as when
we are in the full glow of love for others.
Walter Raushenbush

Happy 11th Anniversary, my dear sweet husband.
You have taught me so much about life, love and genuine friendship.
May our relationship grow even sweeter as the years pass.
I love you with all my heart & soul.
