Weddings & other fine things

Alex & Julie's wedding was such a fun time for Duncan and I. It was quite a privilege for Duncan to be able to officiate and for the 2 of us to be able to travel to Dallas, TX for this fine event. What pleasure we took in seeing them continuing to excel in the good communications that we had been working with them on. These pictures are from the rehearsal dinner at Texas Land and Cattle. Alex's family flew in from Norway and they shared some traditional Norwegian traditions with all of us - singing some fun and silly songs as well as 'roasting' the bride and groom with embarrassing tales. The 'county' band had everyone kicking up their feet.

Duncan and I toured Dallas a bit on Sunday - as much as we could considering it was 105 degrees and I wasn't feeling that well. We did enjoy some fun times at Hard Rock Cafe during a thunderstorm and then had dessert brought in by Room Service while we relaxed in front of the TV.
