In Loving Memory

Herbert Amsa Weatherl
May 30, 1920 - March 2, 2008

Herbert Weatherl of Brush Prairie, WA passed away March 2, 2008, Herbert was 87 years old. He was born May 30, 1920 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Amasa Weatherl and Martha Rosetta Teague. "Dad" passed away peacefully form pulmonary fibrosis/congestive heart failure at Southwest Washington Medical Center this past Sunday morning. He was retired from the Bonneville Power Administration since 1972 where he was a painter/foreman working out of the Ross Substation in Vancouver. He served in the US Army during WWII and was honorably discharged with a disability in the early 1940's. He lived in the Brush Prairie area since the mid 1940's and raised his family there. Herbert was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Helvi Sylivia Heinonen Weatherl. He was survived by his sister Gladys Syverson of Yakima, WA who recently passed on March 4, 2008. Surviving children; Herbert A. Weatherl Jr., Commerce City, Colorado, Lorraine Arnold, Gresham, OR, Kenneth R. Weatherl and Wayne H. Weatherl both of Brush Prairie, WA and Carolyn Roberts of LaCenter, WA; 11 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Funeral services for Herbert will be held March 7, 2008 at 12:30p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Chapel, Vancouver, WA internment to follow.
