Upward Soccer Camp

Graeme & Blaire Rose are playing soccer this week with a camp our church is running. Upward is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for K5 through sixth grade boys and girls that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child. In addition to basketball, Upward offers cheerleading, soccer and flag football programs to complete your Upward ministry. Upward provides opportunities for all believers, no matter what denomination, to become meaningfully involved in the ministries of your church. They will have the opportunity to pray for your program, coach a team, referee a game, share a devotion, and develop relationships in order to open avenues of ministry to the people of your community who will participate in your program.

Both kids are having a great time and it has been fun to see them have a good time on the soccer field as well as just hanging out with their coaches.

What summer (or otherwise) camps do your kids participate in?

so... you must be tired of people reading your blog and not making any comments... because now you are asking questions. :-) I'll have to try again on my blog- it didn't work the first time.
Anyway, so we do Family Camp w/ our whole church and then we try to have a 5 day club at our house with Child Evangelism Fellowship- this year our church did one through CEF for Vacation Bible School- which was great, because we would never have enough helpers on our own.
